SCANDINAVIAN CARGOES.—
“Since the German invasion of Denmark and Norway no shipping has been allowed to proceed to ports in Denmark or German-occupied Norway,” said the Minister of Economic Warfare, Mr R. H. Cross, in reply to a question in the House of Commons. “Cargoes on ships destined for Denmark have been seized as prizes. The disposal of cargoes destined for Norway is being decided by the Norwegian Shipping and Trade Mission in London in consultation with the British Government. (Rugby.) ALL-STAR CAST.— An all-star cast, including Maurice Chevalier and Gracie Fields, appeared at an Anglo-French concert in London which was attended by the Duke and Duchess of Kent.
