SIX ENLISTMENTS YESTERDAY

RECRUITS INCLUDE ONE MARRIED MAN Six recruits, including one married man, enlisted at Invercargill yesterday. The three names available for publication are:— Single J, H. Johnstone. L. F. Graham. Married L. G. Scobie. IMPROVED FIGURES FOR WELLINGTON (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 30. An improvement was shown in the recruiting figures in Wellington during April compared with the previous month, the total being 445, of whom 25 enlisted since Anzac Day. The total enlistments in the Wellington district are now 5085, of whom *3387 have been passed fit and 2330 have been sent to camp.
