FARMERS’ VISIT TO WELLINGTON
LARGE PARTY LEAVES TOMORROW TRIP TO CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION A party of 303 excursionists organized by the Southland provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union will leave Invercargill by special train tomorrow morning for Wellington where they will visit the Centennial Exhibition. This is the largest farmers’ party which has ever travelled from Southland in an organized tour. The fanners will return to Invercargill on Tuesday, May 7.
