AN “OLD BILL” STORY FILMED

After rejecting the suggestion that he should make a series of “Old Bill” pictures in Hollywood, Captain Bruce Bairnsfather, famous cartoonist and author, is now busy at the Denham British studios supervising the finishing touches to his latest play, “Old Bill and Son.” Morland Graham, a West End actor, is playing the part of “Old Bill,” and it is interesting to note that Captain Bairnsfather considers him to be the best “Old Bill” of all. John Mills is the son, Mary Clare is Old Bill’s wife, and Allan Jeayes is Bill’s old colonel. Renee Houston is also in the cast, and plays the part of a troop concert artist. Comedy predominates and the film is a G.B.D. release.
