RESIDENT HONOURED AT SPAR BUSH

An enjoyable evening was spent when the residents of Spar Bush and surrounding districts gathered in the hall to honour Mr Robert McCrostie, whose marriage takes place shortly. Mr A. Miles, on behalf of those present, asked Mr McCrostie to accept a token of appreciation, together with their very best wishes. Mr McCrostie replied.

During the evening solos were sung by Mr P. Tansley (Invercargill), and ducts by Messrs P. and M. Tansley. The music for the dance was supplied by Mr F. Smith (Waimatuku) and extras were played by Mr D. Cartwright, Mr S. Grieve and Mr T. Cartwright. Mr G. McCullough was master of ceremonies.
