The Waimarino which arrived yesterday should complete and sail tonight for Dunedin. The Waiana is due on Saturday at the earliest and will be in port over the week-end. The schooner Britannia left yesterday morning for the half-time trip to the mutton bird islands. It is on this trip that the “passage birds” are usually collected. This means of exchange is still used to finance transport and provision costs. OTHER PORTS WELLINGTON, April 23. Arrived.—Storm 8 a.m. from Wanganui; Port Whangarei 9.30 a.m. and Breeze 10.5 a.m. from Lyttelton. To Arrive.—Waipahi 10 p.m. from Westport.
