It was stated that the centre would be in a position to extend its activities during the next season. It was stated that the trophies given by supporters of piping and dancing had been keenly competed for and the results would be announced in the near future. The past season had been very successful. Arrangements were being made for the annual Ingleside, when the trophies woul 1 be presented. Demonstrations would be given and a high-class entertainment provided. For the convenience of judges at sports meetings two suitable tents had been given, it was stated. It was announced that the centre had received a gold medal from the Royal Highland Society of Braemar which had been handed to the Caledonian Society for competition at the next meeting. The centre had also had made a gold medal to be competed for at the next Braemar gathering, thus forming a link between a society in the north and a society in the south. An endeavour will be made by the centre during the off-season to bring before the supporters of Highland national dancing and pipe music some new features for the betterment of the traditions for which the society stands.
