Out-of -Doors on a Sunny Winter Day
(1) With a jaunty hat of black felt, designed by Sally Victor, of New York, is worn a tailored blouse of blue and silver striped lame. Accessories are of the greatest importance with this type of dress and artificial orchids of deep purple are worn to add colour, while a triple strand of pearls is flattering to the plain neck. Silver-plated ear-rings in a leaf design follow the line of the ear and are very smart. (2) Very becoming is a blue tweed coat with astrakhan trimming down the front and on the pockets. This trimming is grey and tones with the plain felt hat. (3) A blue ensemble with white pique trimming around the neck. A white feature softens the severe lines of the plain, round, model hat. (4) Uncommon style in a blue knitted costume with red cravat and belt. One could not help noticing the style of the pockets which are so unusual—zipp fastened. The off-the-face “ jockey cap ” is also uncommon and serves to lengthen a broad face.
