Five Brothers Enlist

Five men from one Ashburton family have enlisted for overseas military service or are serving with the forces. They are the sons of Mrs Elizabeth Lloyd, of Main South road, Ashburton. Captain Frederick Lloyd is officer in charge of the Defence Department at Blenheim, and Messrs Charles Lloyd and Robert Lloyd are in camp with the 2nd Echelon of the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force. Mr Arthur Lloyd has enlisted in Australia, and Mr Max Lloyd, of Hamilton, will be called into camp soon.
