SOLDIER SENTENCED FOR THEFT
(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 21. For the theft of £1 during the absence of a man with whom he shared a hut, Frederick William Huggins, aged 19, a labourer and soldier in the service of the Defence Department, was sentenced by the Magistrate (Mr J. L. Stout) to 14 days’ imprisonment with hard labour.
