MINISTER RETURNS FROM CHINA

(United Association) WELLINGTON, February 20. In New Zealand for the Presbyterian Centennial General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church is the Rev. G. H. McNeur, who has retired from the Presbyterian Chinese Mission after 38 years in China. He intends to return to China in a year or so to continue voluntarily in mission teaching in the United Church of Christ of China which combines the teachings of the Anglican, Congregational and other churches. He was teaching in Canton, but the college has been moved to Yunnan, almost on the Burma border, in order to escape Japanese control. The Chinese have moved nearly all their educational institutions in the same way.

Mr McNeur is accompanied by Mrs McNeur who also has done valuable work in the mission field for many years.
