EASTER BOWLS TOURNAMENT

RINKS AND PAIRS EVENTS LOSS ON SOUTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS A decision to conduct a bowling tournament at Easter has been made by the management committee of the Southland Bowling Centre. Events in pairs and rinks will be played, the pairs to be played on Good Friday rinks on Easter Saturday and the finals on Easter Monday. . The committee also decided at a meeting this week to carry out the recommendation of the annual meeting of the centre that players for the Southland team to meet Otago in the Harroway Shield match at Invercargi on February 10 be selected from those nominated by the various clubs in Southland.
