WOMEN’S DIVISION

MOKOTUA BRANCH The monthly meeting of the .Mokotua branch of the .Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was presided over by Mrs Munro. Donations were made to the Oteramika and Kapuka school committees. The best bloom competition was won by Miss D. Munro and Mrs Barker was second. Hostess for the meeting was Miss Barker. The dressmaking classes have concluded. Great interest is being taken in the first-aid classes. A very enjoyable evening was held at the annual sale of work. Competitions were arranged in the early part of the evening and a dance took place, music being played by Mr L. Fyfe. Mr J. Munro was master of ceremonies.
