PROVIDING COMFORTS FOR TROOPS
MONEY WANTED THIS WEEK Householders are urged to send in without delay their half-crowns for the patriotic seals which have now been delivered. The money will be devoted to providing comforts for the soldiers, and it is desired to get as much as possible in hand by Sunday. The troops may leave at any time to carry on great traditions and defend the Dominion’s shores. There is not a moment to delay. Half-a-crown in stamps or by postal note should be sent to the National Patriotic Fund Board, Wellington. Every penny will be carefully expended for the purpose intended. The help of all is needed to make the response magnificent from all over the Dominion. The public is urged to seal correspondence and Christmas greetings with patriotic seals.
