GOVERNMENT SECURITIES WANTED ON INVERCARGILL EXCHANGE

Strong support continued to come for Government securities on the Invercargill Stock Exchange yesterday. Banks were quiet with no marked change in price. Insurance companies’ shares were very firm. Commonwealth industrials were inactive and quiet. Overseas mining stocks had a dull market. A sale of Associated Gold Dredging shares at 10/- was reported.
