ALL CITIZENS are invited to attend the CIVIC FAREWELL to be tendered to members of the First Echelon of the Special Force to be held in the QUEEN’S PARK (Rose Gardens) on WEDNESDAY, 20th instant, at 7.30 p.m. Programme of music by Senior and Junior Regimental Bands. Addresses by His Worship the Mayor and President of Invercargill R.S.A. Members of the Special Force and Invercargill R.S.A. are invited to Parade at the G.P.O. MEMBERS of the Special Force are invited to attend the funeral of 8/23/60 Gunner William David Burke, 23rd Heavy Battery, at 1.45 today (Tuesday). The funeral will leave his parents’ residence, 74 Clyde Street, at 2 p.m., for the Eastern Cemetery. Dp563
