Another school year has come to a close and pupils of primary and secondary schools are putting away their books until the start of the first term next year. During the last few days teachers and pupils have been busy making preparations for the annual break-up ceremonies, a number of which were held yesterday The Southland Technical College held its ceremony yesterday afternoon, and in the Civic Theatre last night the Southland Boys’ and Girls’ High-Schools held a combined function. Yesterday afternoon ceremonies also took place at the Middle sc o and the Waihopai side school.
