Nash), in an interview, announced that a final cablegram about the price the United Kingdom is offering for .New Zealand’s surplus butter and cheese had been received but not checked over. “It does not look as if we are going to lose any money,” he said, when asked for an indication of the price. “We should be able to get some of the balance.”

DETAILS TO BE GIVEN TONIGHT AGREEMENT REACHED WITH BRITAIN (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 16. A hint that prices to be paid by the British Government for New Zealand butter and cheese would* be equal to the amount of the guaranteed prices already fixed for this season’s dairy produce was given by the Minister of Marketing (the Hon. W. Nash) in a broadcast address tonight. He said that the negotiations were now complete with the exception of one or two very minor points. Mr Nash said he would endeavour in a broadcast address tomorrow night to give the details of the agreement reached with the United Kingdom, the prices to be paid in sterling by the United Kingdom Government, and the equivalent prices in New Zealand currency. "I hope to be able to say the prices are up to those we are paying to farmers now,” said Mr Nash.
