INSURANCE SHARES STEADY ON INVERCARGILL EXCHANGE
There was a firmer market for certain Australian industrial companies’ shares on the Invercargill Stock Exchange yesterday. Woolworths Ltd. advanced to £l/4/- and Broken Hill Proprietaries and G. J. Coles remained in good demand. The insurance market was a steady one, but banks were quiet.
