CLOSER ALLIED RELATIONS WITH SPAIN
VATICAN CITY, October 11. The Apostolic Delegates of the Holy See report the desire of Britain and France for closer relations with Catholic Spain. His Holiness Pope Pius XII contemplated forming an antiatheist bloc but Britain and France were disinclined to introduce religion into international politics.
