He ran the last furlong strongly in 12|sec. Respirator, Fearless and Cairnsmore accounted for seven furlongs in lmin 31|sec. The former was most impressive. John Dory surprised by keeping with Wilson over five furlongs covered in lmin 3fsec. Diaphane moved freely over a mile in lmin 45£sec. Ortelle’s Star was not extended oyer a mile covered in lmin 49Jsec, the last half in 51|sec. Judean beat Footmark over seven furlongs in lmin 31sec. Gold Salute did steady work. Beau Vite, going comfortably on the sand, went a mile in lmin 59sec. At Flemington, on the grass Anpapejo and Reading finished together after going well over six furlongs in lmin 17sec. Carpenter and Donor’s Hill were not extended over six furlongs in lmin 19sec.

Feminist impressed over seven furlongs done in lmin 34Jsec. Procyon and Border Lass were on terms after three furlongs covered in 37sec. Broadcaster and Applause, lightly shod, ran three furlongs in 36jsec. Stoic beat Maluno over seven furlongs in lmin 32jsec. Lusson defeated Muscari over six furlongs on the sand in lmin 19sec.
