NEW GIANT HANGARS AT WIGRAM.—For the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station at Wigram several new giant hangars are being built. As shown by this photograph, a spectacular method of construction is used up the steel framework of the buildings, the walls of which have to support a great expanse of roof without the help of intermediate pillars.
