RAILWAY EXCURSION

On Saturday, 21st October, the Railway Department is running a special excursion train from Invercargill to Christchurch, leaving Invercargill at 12.20 p.m., Gore 1.31 p.m. and arriving Christchurch 11.50 p.m. Stops at Woodlands, Edendale, Mataura, Gore, Clinton and Balclutha. Return train leaves Christchurch 6.20 p.m. on Labour Day, 23rd October, and arrives Invercargill 6.20 a.m. the following day, connecting at Invercargill with trams from Post Office at 6.25 a.m. for all termini. Second class fares from Invercargill and Woodlands 28/-, Mataura 26/-, Gore 25/-, and seats reserved both ways for 1/1.
