A song bearing the title “New Zealand” will be sung by Mr Linton Hodge, for the first time at a public performance in New Zealand, at the' Male Choir’s recital next Tuesday evening. G. E. Anson’s words have been set to music by Hugo Anson, the whole publication being dedicated to all New Zealanders. Along with a request programme of part songs and solos by Mrs B. W. Hewat (soprano), Mr J. Pringle (baritone), the Glee Party from the Southland Women’s Club, and the Lyric Quartet party a wonderful programme is assured. Patrons should reserve at Begg’s, Esk street, as the bookwill be heavy.
