THE EXHIBITION

To The Editor Sir,—lt has been announced that the Centennial Exhibition is to be carried on. Surely this decision is wrong. In file present crisis in Europe, the directors must realize that it would be in the best interests of all for the exhibition to be postponed in the meantime. Many overseas visitors, including the famous English band, will have now cancelled their visits. I think I would be voicing the opinion of many in saying, “cancel in the meantime.”—Yours, etc., VISITOR. September 11, 1939.
