ENTERTAINMENT BY CRICKET CLUB
SUCCESSFUL BALL AT RIVERTON Decorated with yellow and blue streamers and coloured lights, the Empire Theatre, Riverton, provided a bright setting for the Riverton Cricket Club’s annual ball, which proved an unqualified success. Supporters of the club and friends from all parts of the district accepted the club’s invitation to attend, and a big crowd enjoyed a varied programme of dances. Mr J. Fitzpatrick was floormaster. During the evening, a lucky spot dance was held, the winners being Mr J. Henderson (Thombury) and partner. Among those present were Mr G. H. Webb (president of the club) and Mrs Webb, Mr and Mrs C.
