NEW FEDERAL LINER SUFFOLK LEAVING IN OCTOBER ON MAIDEN VOYAGE The Federal Company’s new motor-ship Suffolk, of 11,000 tons gross, which was launched at Glasgow last month, will leave Liverpool on October 14 on her maiden voyage to Australia. She is due at Fremantle on November 15. The Suffolk will be commanded by Captain F. S. Hamilton, formerly of the motor-ship Opawa. Captain T. L. Maltby, master of the Hororata, which has been transferred to the British India Company and renamed Walroonga, is now master of the Opawa. The Union Steam Ship Company’s Waipori is to load at Newcastle tomorrow and completes at Sydney for Bluff. Dunedin, Lyttelton, Timaru and Oamaru. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cabled advice that the Huntingdon reached London last Thursday morning. She left Port Chalmers on July 2 for London, via the Panama Canal. The Union Company has received cabled advice that its motor-ship Limerick left Los Angeles at 7 a.m. last Thursday for Papeete, Rarotonga, Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton and Australia.
