MEMBERS OF LODGE ENTERTAIN
SUCCESSFUL BALL AT RIVERTON
The dance held under the auspices of the members of the Wallace Lodge, I. proved an enjoyable function, although the attendance was affected by the adverse weather. The hall was decorated with greenery and streamers. A supper extra was played by Miss Mona Carmody (Riverton). Among those who attended were representatives from Loyal Pioneer Lodge, Pride of Bluff Lodge, and Lodge Takiara (Invercargill). A Monte Carlo waltz was won by P.G, Bro. T. Bulling (Loyal Pioneer Lodge) and P.V.G. Sister Bulling (Pride of Bluff Lodge), while Sister L. Hill (Lodge Takiara) and Mr V. Watkinson (Ermedale) were successful in winning a lucky spot waltz.
