Victims Of Fashions Whirligig

We are all playthings—or victims—of fashion. The rules are drawn up behind the scenes and we obey willy-nilly. What matter? It is part of the spice of life. Would we have it otherwise? A business house in New York stored away all unsold lines, being sure that eventually fashion would revive them. It paid, but there was one exception. After many .years they cast out a once-, fashionable line of red-white-and-blue stockings!
