LOANS RAISED BY GOVERNMENT
PARTICULARS OF BORROWING SOUGHT (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON. June 28. Particulars of the Government’s borrowing during the last financial year were sought in the House this afternoon by Mr J. Hargest (Nat., Awarua) when he asked the acting Minister of Finance (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) to make available particulars of the actual borrowing by the Government during the year 1938-39 and of the sources from which the loan money was derived.
