Representative Dates Arranged FULL LIST OF FIXTURES AHEAD

The management committee of the Southland Men’s Hockey Association confirmed several dates for representative fixtures at its meeting last night. It was decided that the matches with Otago should be played on July 22in two grades, senior and junior, the junior game will begin at 1.45 p.m. ana the senior at 2.45 p.m. It was also decided that the junior side should be picked from players under 20 years. The date for the return match with Otago at Dunedin was fixed for September 16, subject to the consent or the Otago Association. ■ September 23 was suggested for the match against North Otago at Invercargill. After some discussion the date was accepted. The Nelson Association wrote suggesting August 19 for the Nordon Cup match, at Nelson. The date was accepted. , , , It was decided to close the club season on August 26. - . ■ The list of representative fixtures is now as follows: Saturday, July 1: Southland v. East-ern-Northern. Saturday, July 22: Southland _v. Otago, at Invercargill, senior and junior. Saturday, August 19: Southland y. Nelson at Nelson (Nordon Cup match). Saturday, September 2: Southland v. Canterbury, at Invercargill. Saturday, September 16: Southland v. Otago, return match at Dunedin. Saturday, September 23: Southland v. North Otago at Invercargill. The match played annually for the Dawson Cup between Central and Otago Boys’ High School Old Boys will be held on September 9 at Dunedin. The cup is at present held by the Central Club. ~ , Mr J. D. Gregg (president) presided over the following delegates: Messrs H. Rennick and D. G. Hardcastle (Civil Service), N. Poole (Collegiate), J. D. Speirs (Central), G. J. Hope (primary schools), N., Dawson (High School), E. Mullen (treasurer), F. Hinton (vicepresident) and the'secretary (Mr K. Lythgoe). . N. Jones reported that he would not be available to play for the junior team against Eastern-Northern on Saturday. G. Fredric (Central) will replace him. It was decided that the seniors would wear maroon jerseys and the juniors white. EASTERN-NORTHERN TEAMS The following Eastern-Northern men’s hockey teams have been selected to. play Town at Gore on Saturday: — Seniors: A. Wirght (Waipounamu), K. Kershaw (Gore), P.
