J. Strang Scored 200 Points At Home Last Season

J. Strang, a former South Canterbury representative and twice an emergency forward for the South Island, enjoyed a good run in the season which closed in England recently. He played for Air Force and scored more than 200 points, but next season he intends co turn out for an outside club. Strang is a native of Invercargill but did not play club football here. He is a brother of W. A. Strang, former All Black half-back and five-eighths and a Rugby product of the Southland Boys High School.
