PROPOSED MATCHES WITH AUSTRALIA
(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 23. It has been made clear to the New Zealand Golf Council that there is no chance of the Kirk-Windeyer Cup being played for again. The council this week considered a suggestion of an annual match with a team representative of Australia, including a man from each of four states. The Australian Golf Union is being communicated with, and the hope expressed that such matches, if inaugurated, will be continuous and not merely for a year or two.
