Two new clans held their meetings in Cousin Betty’s room during the week. They are the Waihopai Clan and the Golden Star Clan.
WAIHOPAI CLAN: Cousins Margaret McCleery (captain), June Harpur (secretary), Edith Gardner, Margaret Kilpatrick, Winnie Crosland, Shirley Anderson, Rowena Wilkie, Margaret Arnice, Maureen Freeman, Rosemary Grant. The colours are blue and gold.
GOLDEN STAR CLAN: Cousins Eleanor Brown (captain), Joy Rowley (secretary), Dorothy Slocombe, Eula Gillespie, June de la Perrelle, Ray Gillespie, Sadie Catherall, Jean Gardner, Patricia Fox, Elaine McCleery.
