Detailed results have been received by Army Headquarters, Wellington, from the National Rifle Association, England, of the inter-Empire competition for the King George V trophy and Imperial Challenge Shield. South Africa won the King George V trophy for the ninth time with Great Britain second and New Zealand third. Four out of the five Imperial trophies were won by Britain, India taking the fifth. '
New Zealand won 13 silver and four bronze medals of honour, and the winner of the New Zealand trophy was C Company of the 3rd (6) Battalion of the Wellington Regiment (St. Patrick’s College, Sil verstream).
