THIEVES’ HAUL IN GROCERY STORE

£4O SECURED BY BLOWING SAFE (United Press Association) HASTINGS, May 28. By blowing a safe in a grocery store at Waipukurau on Saturday night thieves secured about £4O. Bags of flour and sugar were used as a pack round the safe to deaden the noise. Entry was gained by cutting through a panel at the back of the store.
