PETITION OF WIDOW GRANTED
WELLINGTON, May 25. In the Supreme Court the Crown consented to judgment for £1750 with
costs £5O on a petition of right for £2OOO brought by the widow of Cornelius Harold Ward, the victim of a premature explosion in the Ngahauranga Gorge on September 19 during blasting operations. There are six children.
