MOTOR DRIVERS’ LICENSES. PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that the license department of the Southland County Council Office will be open for the issue of motor drivers' licenses and heavy traffic licenses on Friday evening the 26th May from 6.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday morning the 27th May from 9.30 a.m. till noon. NOTICE is hereby given that the Main Highways Board proposes to apply to the Minister of Transport for approval of its proposal to classify the following roads as indicated. Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice in writing before 2nd June, 1939, of his objection and of the ground thereof at the office of the Board, the address of which is Wellington, C.l. Roads Classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motorvehicle) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 7 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which when carrying a load has an axle weight of not more than 4J tons on any one axle.
