The story of the English Bible will form the theme of an illustrated lecture to be given the Rev. E. O. Blamires, organizing secretary of the New Zealand Bible in Schools League, in the Church of Christ Hall, Ythan street, South Invercargill this evening. It will be illustrated by 60 lantern views descriptive of the processes of the art of writing and printing from earliest times till now, and of the scenes associated with the Bible in England and elsewhere. Admission is free. A collection in aid of the work of the Bible in Schools League will be taken.
