WAIRIO EUCHRE EVENING
The weekly euchre evening, run by the Wairio branch of the Labour Party, was held in the Public Hall. There was a good attendance. The games were closely contested. The prizewinners are as follows.— Women: Miss N. Sherman 1, Mrs J. Gunn 2. Men: Mr A. Ballagh, jun. 1, Mr J. Blackwell 2.
