INFLUX OF NAZIS INTO DANZIG
Parade By Hitler’s
Brown Shirts
REPORTED DISTRIBUTION OF VOTING PAPERS
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Received May 15, 9.40 p.m.) LONDON, May 15. The Polish Press reports that 40,000 young Germans, ostensibly tourists, have entered Danzig in the past 10 days. They are expected to participate in a parade of Danzig’s Brown Shirts and Black Guards today which the authorities are not seeking to prevent. Political circles in Warsaw do not expect a putsch at present, but voting papers similar to those used in the Nazi plebiscites are reported to have been printed in Danzig. The Danzig correspondent of the British United Press says the Nazis deny that a monster demonstration will be held today. They say that only 300 Brown Shirts and no Storm Troopers will march two miles, after which a concert will be held. HITLER INSPECTS FRONTIERS THOROUGH EXAMINATION OF FORTIFICATIONS (Received May 15, 7.20 p.m.) BERLIN, May 15. Herr Hitler today began a fortnight’s visit to key points of the German fortifications. He is going first to the Siegfried Line, thence eastwards, and he will thoroughly examine the positions and the equipment of the troops on the whole eastern front, including the Baltic and East Prussia.
