HARRIERS

COMBINED CLUBS’ RUN .On Saturday afternoon the Invercargill and St. Paul’s Harrier Clubs combined for a run from the Municipal Baths. A big pack took the trail, led by J. D. Walker and B. Crowther. The course was laid through the Turnbull-Thomson park to Tweed street, making across country towards Tisbury and returning to town via Boundary and East roads. In a run home from the cemetery the fast pack was headed by R. Rubber, A. Hind, L. Armstrong and E. J. Dorman. In the second pack, W. Tait was the leader, followed by B. McAlister, G. Couling and B. Donaldson. Next Saturday the Invercargill Club will run at Otatara, where the members will be the guests of Mr J. Metcalfe. The St. Paul’s pack will run at Oreti Beach.
