STUD BULLS FOR HAWKE’S BAY
VALUABLE CONSIGNMENT ARRIVES (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 14. A valuable consignment of eight Scottish and English stud bulls for several Hawke’s Bay breeders arrived at Auckland on Saturday from Halifax and Nova Scotia by the motor-ship Port Montreal. The , animals, which include some of the finest blood of British studs, were in charge of a Scottish attendant. They were in quarantine for three months at St. John, New Brunswick before coming to the Dominion. The bulls arrived in excellent condition, and comprised six Polled Angus, one Red Poll and one Dairy Shorthorn.
