SAFE STOLEN PROM OFFICE

(United Press Association)

MARTON, May 13. Marton’s comparative immunity from crime was broken overnight with the removal of a quarter-ton safe from the office of Mr T. A. Wilson, wood and coal merchant, of Marton Junction. The door of the office was found forced this morning. Apparently the safe was rolled out the building to a shed 20 yards away and loaded on to a waiting vehicle. Nothing else was touched. The safe contained £25.
