GOOD YARDING OF SHEEP STOCK SALE AT WYNDHAM For a May sale the yarding of sheep at the Wyndham stock sale was larger than usual. Fat lambs sold about schedule but buyers were not keen and a few very good lots were passed at auction. A few fat wethers sold well. There was little life in the store market, which points to the graziers’ requirements being supplied for this season and little chance for any improvement in values. Prices for fat cattle were back considerably on the last sale when the quality was very high. A few pens of store cattle sold at ruling prices. Sales were:—

SMALL YARDING AT OTAUTAU ROMNEY EWE LAMBS REALIZE UP TO 21/8 The Otautau stock sale was held in wintry weather. A small yarding was penned, comprising a few pens of good Romney ewe hoggets, several pens of old ewes and a few small pens of two-tooth wethers. Best Romney ewe lambs made up to 21/8, medium from 18/3 to 20/-. Wether lambs realized from 9/- to 12/- and old ewes from 8/- to 10/-. Following were some of the sales recorded:
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., sold: Thirtythree wether lambs at 13/-, 65 ewe lambs at 21/2, 152 at 20/-, 16 ewes at 2/7, 13 at 5/9, 50 wether lambs at 15/7, and 50 concrete posts at £6. The National Mortgage and Agency Co., Ltd., sold: Seven lambs at 18/6. J. R. Mills and Son sold: Fifty-eight ewes at 9/-.
. The Southland Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Association sold: Thirty wethers at 20/-.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., sold: Six strainers at 9/6, 5 at 9/9, 3 at 7/-, 13 at 8/6, 6 at 9/- and 8 at 7/6.

INVESTMENT TRUST DIVIDEND
(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 13. The Stock Exchange Association has received cabled advice that the National Reliance Investment Trust has recommended a dividend of 4| per cent. The Nemona dredge obtained 290 z for 127 hours work in which 9500 yards were treated.
