BAND AND REVUE
YOUNG AUSTRALIANS COMING The Young Australian Boys, who have achieved pronounced success overseas as comedians, musicians, impersonators and tap dancers, will come direct from seasons in the principal Australian theatres. The boys have created records in other parts of the world. They played 78 consecutive performances in Johannesburg, South Africa, with the “house full” sign showing at every performance. The Young Australians played a record season in Auckland recently, when huge audiences acclaimed their performance as one of the most brilliant and novel productions ever been seen there. Their programme of two and three-quarter hours includes comedy sketches, with excellent comedians, impersonations of film stars, tap dancing, and a stage band which features three piano accordions, Spanish guitars, and xylophones. The fact that the boys have been acclaimed as brilliant entertainers in so many cities overseas, indicates that they possess outstanding talent, and New Zealanders are promised a most unusual and entertaining performance. Prices of admission are popular, and seats may be reserved at Begg’s.
