FIRE BREAKS OUT AT ARMY DEPOT
DISTRIBUTING CENTRE FOR CARS THREATS RECEIVED AT R.A.F. STATION (Received May 10, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON, May 10. After anonymous threats had been received at a nearby Royal Air Force airport, a big fire broke out at an army ordnance depot near ■ Nottingham last night. The depot contained hundreds of light motor-vehicles and tyres. The depot is one of the chief distributing centres for army cars. Petrol tanks burst and one big. shed was destroyed and the other saved. It is officially stated that no vehicles were damaged. A large number of tyres was saved.
