WOMAN GLIDER HIT BY AEROPLANE
(Received April 18, 6.30 p.m.) VERSAILLES, April 17. Mme Jarlaud, holder of the French women’s glider records—altitude 3950 ft and distance 52.3 miles—was killed in a collision with an aeroplane.
