Mrs J. McGibbon, of Dunedin, is the guest of her sister, Mrs P. Boylen, Great North road. Mrs P. L. de la Perrelle, Park street, has returned from a holiday in Wellington. Miss H. Liddell, of Dunedin, has been the guest of her sister, Mrs H. Cochrane, New road.

Miss Z. Kerse, of Invercargill, was the guest of Miss M. Tilley, Great North road, last week. Mrs A. Shields and Miss E. Shields, of Menzies Ferry, were the week-end guests of Mrs M. Boyle, Meldrum street. Miss J. Grimwood, Devereaux road, was a visitor to Waikiwi last week. Miss R. Gilmour, Park street, was a recent visitor to Bluff. Mr and Mrs O. A. B. Smith, Great North road, have returned from a holiday spent at Lake Hawera. Mr and Mrs D. Russell, of Mataura, were recent visitors to Winton. Mrs J. R. Grant and family, of Invercargill, have been the guests of Mrs A. Hagerty, Park street. Mrs M. G. McArthur, of Jnvercargill, is the guest of Mrs H. J. Mathias, Wemyss street. OREPUKI Mr and Mrs W. Love, Dunedin, were recent guests at the Masonic Hotel. Mrs Keen, Gore, has been visiting her mother Mrs J. C. Shaw. Mr and Mrs A. J. Bone have been staying in Riverton. Miss G. Watson has returned to Invercargill. i Miss D. Turnbull was a recent visitor to Invercargill. Mrs Hooker and her family have left to take up residence on the West Coast. Mr and Mrs R. Moore and their children have returned to their home in Ohai.

Mrs E. F. Hogg paid a brief visit to Invercargill recently. Mr and Mrs G. Finn have returned from Winton, where they were the guests of Mrs T. Egerton. Mrs T. D. Barnett has returned from a holiday in Tuatapere. Mr and Mrs Graham, and Miss Mollie Graham, Dunedin, were recent visitors to Orepuki. Mr and Mrs T. Palmer, Otautau, are the guests of Mrs Ferguson. Miss M. Davis, Invercargill, has been visiting relations in the district. Mr and Mrs McLean and Miss Betty McLean have returned from Riverton.

Mr and Mrs J. Hynd and Miss M. Hynd, Invercargill, were recent guests of Mrs M. Moylan.

Miss L. Weir has returned to Dunedin after spending a few days with her parents Mr and Mrs E. J. Weir. Mr and Mrs J. Fraser, Gore, spent a few days in Orepuki recently. Miss J. Morris, Tuatapere, has been spending a few days at her home. Mrs G. Whipp has returned from Invercargill where she was the guest of her mother, Mrs Richardson. Mr and Mrs F. Egerton and their children, Tuatapere, have been the guests of Mrs W. Herrick. Miss F. Meager, Invercargill, was a recent visitor to her home.

Frew, Misses Marjorie McNay and Jean Frew, and Messrs D. Macnicol and J. A. McDonald motored to Te Anau and Eglinton Valley for the Easter holidays. Miss Trixie Stewart, of Toa, spent a few days at Spar Bush recently. COLAC BAY Guests at the Colac Bay Hotel during Easter week were: Mr and Mrs T. Before her departure for her new home in Napier, Mrs E. H. Diack and her small daughter, Barbara, are spending a holiday with Mrs Colin McDonald, Colac Bay. Mr and Mrs William Baird, Ritchie street, are at present staying at the Colac Bay Hotel.
