TELEPHONE KIOSK BLOWN UP BY BOMB
IRISH REPUBLICANS BLAMED (Received April 17, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 16. A telephone kiosk at Liverpool was blown up by a bomb, the act being attributed to members of the Irish Republican Army. A woman in a nearby house was thrown from a chair.
Unexploded bombs were discovered at Islington and Cricklewood.
